Terms of Service

Last updated: 27th August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Confetti website, mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Channelle Chin trading as Confetti ("Confetti", "we", "us" or "our"), a sole trader based in England and Wales, business address 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

2. Eligibility — you must be an adult

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account and use the Service. The Service is intended for parents and guardians. It is not intended for use by children, and children must not create accounts.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
  • If you invite a co-parent or partner to share your household, you are responsible for ensuring they are entitled to access the shared information, and both account holders may be able to see and manage shared household data.
  • Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. What the Service does

Confetti helps parents and guardians organise children’s parties — for example, keeping party details in one place, tracking invitations and RSVPs, coordinating tasks between co-parents, and providing gift suggestions. We may add, change or remove features from time to time.

5. Content you provide

You may add information and content to the Service, such as party details, tasks, messages, and invitation images ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, display and use Your Content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, to show your invitation to the guests you share it with).

You are responsible for Your Content, and you agree that:

  • You have the right to provide it and to share it in the way the Service allows.
  • It does not infringe anyone else’s rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights).
  • When you upload an invitation design or image, you have the right to use that design (for example, you created it or have permission to use it).
  • You will not enter another person’s personal information — including another person’s child’s details — unless you have a proper basis for doing so.
  • It is not unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.

We are not obliged to monitor Your Content, but we may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or the law.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use it for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or introduce malicious code.
  • Misuse invitation links or RSVP features, including submitting false or spam responses.
  • Copy, scrape, or resell any part of the Service without our permission.

7. Gift recommendations and affiliate links

The Service may suggest gifts and include links to third-party retailers. Some of these are "affiliate links", which means that if you click them and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Gift suggestions are provided for convenience only. We do not sell the products ourselves, and we are not responsible for the products, prices, availability, delivery, or the terms of any third-party retailer. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer, governed by their terms. Prices and availability shown are indicative and may not be current — always check the retailer’s own website before buying.

8. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, text, and graphics (but excluding Your Content and third-party materials) — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use in the way it is intended. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our permission.

9. Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, retailers, or messaging apps you use to share invitations). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and working well, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw all or part of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes to these Terms, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to (for example, for legal or security reasons). Some provisions of these Terms are intended to continue to apply after your use ends.

12. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaching these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you entered into these Terms.

Confetti is provided for personal and domestic use. If you use Confetti for any commercial or business purpose, we will not be responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our responsibility where it would be unlawful for us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, though if you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your home nation. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
